Room 7, Miss Andrea and Miss Kimberly's class, hatched chicks. Hatching chicks involves incubating fertilized chicken eggs for 21 days in an incubator with the right temperature and humidity. After the eggs are incubated, chicks pecked their way out of the shells. Now they are kept in a brooder to keep them warm and provide food and water. Classes took field trips to room 7 to witness the progress.

Students learned about volcano eruptions through a fun and interactive science experiment. The experiment involved building a model volcano and then simulating an eruption by combining baking soda and vinegar. This chemical reaction produces carbon dioxide gas, which causes the "lava" to erupt.
