Congratulations to our students of the week for the week ending March 20. This group is our a.m. students. Students are recognized by their teacher for being: respectful, responsible and safe.
Due to the emergency day used on March 16, the last day of school is now Thursday, May 21 for Early Childhood, and Friday, May 22 for K-11 grades. Seniors' last day will stay the same on Friday, May 8.

Students took a field trip to the Discovery Center, where fun and learning collide! Created with curious children in mind, the museum blends interactive exhibits and engaging programs into endless opportunities to play, discover, and experience the magic of hands-on learning!
All RPS 205 schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16, due to weather. All after-school activities will also be cancelled, including Y Care. The RPS 205 Administration Building, Sterling Holley, & the Operations Support Center will be open.
Miss Lisa Meeks' classes learned about letters and did many activities focused on the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Fun fact- The 30-million-word gap is a famous study suggesting that children from literacy-rich homes hear millions more words by age 4 than their peers, giving them a massive head start in school. Please try to read to your child each day for at least 20 minutes.
Thanks to the United Way Success by Six program, we are able to send home books each month to each child. In addition, they also provide bilingual books to all students in their native languages.
