Meet the Principal

It is my honor to continue to serve as the principal of Fairview Early Childhood Center since 2010, in collaboration with our dedicated families, talented staff and the community.  

At Fairview, we follow the Pyramid Model to provide social emotional supports to students and tools to parents to ensure all students are successful. We provide an inclusive experience for all and build positive relationships with all stakeholders.  

Before becoming principal, I served as an assistant principal and teacher in RPS for 11 years. I received a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University, a Masters degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University and an Ed.S., Educational Specialist degree, in Educational Administration, from Northern Illinois University. 

I have an an open-door policy and welcome all families and the community to Fairview to visit or volunteer.  I am the proud parent of a daughter, who is in her second year of law school in South Dakota and a son, who is a junior in college here in Illinois, studying business.   

Fairview has consistently been recognized with the Gold Circle of Quality award from the State of Illinois in environment and instruction as well as the Gold Circle of Quality Award in inclusion of students with special needs.  

I hope to see you at Fairview soon and am looking forward to meeting our new Fairview fireflies and seeing our returning students, families and staff!
